The FutureLaw 2025 conference brought together innovators, founders, lawyers, and policymakers to explore how AI and emerging technologies are transforming the legal world — and young volunteers from StartIDA MTÜ were a key part of making it happen.
Held at the Port of Tallinn Cruise Terminal, the event gathered hundreds of participants from across Estonia and Europe. For the volunteers, it was a unique opportunity to experience the energy of a major international conference while gaining valuable professional and teamwork skills.
Hands-On Experience
Throughout the event, StartIDA volunteers worked alongside the FutureLaw team in several areas, including:
- Registration and guest coordination at the venue entrance.
- Speaker and stage assistance, ensuring smooth transitions between sessions.
- Social media support and content capture during key moments.
- Helping partners and exhibitors during setup and networking sessions.
The fast-paced environment encouraged adaptability, creativity, and communication — giving participants a taste of what it takes to run a professional tech and innovation conference.

Youth Empowerment in Action
The collaboration between FutureLaw and StartIDA MTÜ continues to create real-world learning opportunities for young people. Through volunteering, participants developed confidence, initiative, and a better understanding of how technology intersects with law and entrepreneurship.
“Volunteering at FutureLaw showed me how innovation can make law more human and accessible,” shared one of the participants.
Looking Forward
Following the success of FutureLaw 2025, StartIDA aims to further expand its youth engagement programs, ensuring more young people can take part in international events and develop the skills needed for the future world of work.
