W3N 2024, Estonia’s leading Web3 and future technology festival, opened its doors to young changemakers who wanted to be part of something bigger. Last year, the festival team launched a new volunteering program in collaboration with the Young Entrepreneurs Club of Tallinn, offering hands-on experience in event production, creative media, and startup networking.
Taking place on December 4–5 at Vaba Lava Narva, W3N brought together builders, creators, and innovators from across Europe and beyond. The festival connected hundreds of participants with global speakers from companies like Binance, Sui, British Airways, and Startup Estonia, all under one roof in Estonia’s most unique tech destination – Narva.
Why Volunteer at W3N?
For young people, volunteering at W3N wasn’t just about helping out – it was about being part of the future of innovation. Volunteers had the chance to:
- Work side by side with international speakers, entrepreneurs, and creative professionals.
- Gain real-world experience in event organization, media production, and community engagement.
- Access exclusive behind-the-scenes sessions and receive an official certificate of participation.
- Join the growing W3N youth community, a network of active and inspired young leaders across Estonia.
A Collaboration to Build Bridges
Through its cooperation with the Young Entrepreneurs Club of Tallinn, W3N 2024 bridged Estonia’s regions – connecting youth from Tallinn and Ida-Virumaa through shared projects, learning, and creativity. Both organizations share a mission to empower the next generation of founders and innovators, creating real opportunities for collaboration and growth.
“Young people are not just the audience – they’re the drivers of change,” said Alexander Bitskov, co-founder of the W3N initiative. “By opening more volunteer pathways and working with youth clubs across Estonia, we’re helping them see that innovation can start anywhere – even at the edge of Europe.”
Looking Ahead
After the success of W3N 2024, the team plans to expand the youth and volunteer initiatives even further for the next edition, continuing to inspire young Estonians to learn, create, and build the future – together.
